Why not buy all the tools you need & save some money. These are all the special tools you need to convert most bikes. This package includes the heavy duty 1/2” drive socket that will definitely get the main motor mounting nut tight enough, the double ended spanner that is mainly used to tighten the second motor lock nut, the crank puller which you will need again for on going maintenance & bottom bracket remover. BOTTOM BRACKET REMOVAL TOOL

This tool is essential if you are doing the conversion yourself & will fit most bottom brackets. It is a high quality Park brand tool which is necessary as some bottom brackets can be difficult to remove. Remember when removing bottom brackets that both sides turn FORWARDS to undo. The left hand side is a right hand thread & the right hand side is a left hand thread.

Motor mounting nuts need to be done up really tight to avoid the motor coming loose & dropping down causing damage. This special socket takes a 1/2” bar so you can get some real torque into it.

This tool is for the outer lock nut that goes over the main motor nut. Also a great tool for removal & installation of outboard threaded bottom bracket systems.
