Most people over 40 years old will admit that using a normal bike in a standard position isn’t that comfortable. Sore/numb hands, elbows, shoulders & necks are common complaints. Lifting your handlebars will take the pressure off your hands etc & will probably make your seat more comfortable. Getting properly comfortable on a bike is a combination of things but getting your handlebars in the correct place is one of the key things.

The longer the stem the more height It will give you while still creating a short reach. Will fit 25.4 & 31.8mm diameter bars.
